Microneedling with PRP Microneedling uses numerous small needles to impress small holes into the skin to stimulate collagen growth and improve the appearance of the skin. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is harvested from each patient and contains a concentration of growth factors and nutrients. PRP is applied topically to the skin after microneedling to help with stimulating collagen growth and promote healing.
