Offering two locations in the Vail Valley, our practice was founded by a board certified dermatologist / board certified dermatopathologist who provides professional and trusted care for a variety of medical, surgical, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology services.
Jean Liu Urquhart, M.D.
Jean Liu Urquhart, M.D., is a board certified dermatologist and board certified dermatopathologist. After attending Yale University, New Haven, CT, for her undergraduate degree, she earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and completed her dermatology residency and fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, CO. Dr. Urquhart has published articles regarding topics in melanoma, pediatric dermatology, dermatopathology and skin cancer screening. She also has lectured to cancer awareness groups, schools and the medical community to help educate the community about skin cancer detection, sun protection, skin care and management of dermatologic conditions. She received the Patients’ Choice Award from vitals.com, which recognizes physicians who have been rated perfectly by their patients.
Dr. Urquhart is passionate about providing the best dermatologic care possible to her patients. She regularly participates in community health fairs to provide free skin cancer screenings to residents of Eagle and Summit Counties.
Dr. Urquhart is affiliated with Vail Valley Medical Center and enjoys treating patients from throughout Colorado, including patients from Vail, Avon/Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Eagle, Edwards, Frisco, and Dillon/Silverthorne, Glenwood Springs and Aspen.

Jena Holt, Licensed Aesthetician
Jena Holt is a licensed aesthetician who will join Mountain Dermatology Specialists in June 2012. We are delighted to have her a part of our team. Jena brings experience with skin and laser treatments to help patients who have problematic skin and who wish to improve the appearance of their skin. She has received training and certification in chemical peels, microdermabrasion, micropigmentation and laser treatments.
